The Pandemic has caused a global outbreak of virulent diseases. Players are disease-fighting specialists tasked with treating hotspots and researching cures for four plagues. They use a deck of cards to travel between cities, treat infected populations, discover cures, or build research stations. Epidemic cards accelerate disease activity, while a separate deck controls normal infection spread. Players must plan strategies to match their specialists' strengths to conquer the diseases. If they cure all four, they win.
